Over the last year Angus Stewart has been conducting some trials comparing the growth of Kangaroo Paws in a wicking bed and a non-wicking garden bed. The consistency of soil moisture, but the lower surface level moisture, in the WaterUps® wicking bed produced superior results in terms of flower production. They also allowed the kangaroo paw to be grown all year round in Tasmania, where the trials were conducted.
