In-House Manufacturing

CNC Precision Cutting

WaterUps operates its own CNC machine, allowing us to cut both wicking cells and polyethylene liner sheeting to any shape or dimension required by your project. This means no project is too complex or non-standard — we fabricate to your exact specifications.

CNC-Cut Wicking Cells

WaterUps® wicking cells are precision-cut using our in-house CNC machine to match the exact geometry of your planting bed, planter, or tree pit. Any shape — circular, triangular, L-shaped, or irregular — can be accommodated. Cells are cut from our standard polypropylene stock and fitted together seamlessly to maximise reservoir coverage.

CNC-Cut Polyethylene Sheeting

Our CNC machine also cuts polyethylene sheeting to precise dimensions and shapes. This is used in conjunction with WaterUps' clip in feet and inlet pipes to support custom designs for in-ground installations, retrofit projects, and non-standard planter geometries where our cells won't fit. Sheeting is cut to your supplied CAD drawings or site measurements.
